New Cross Gate MDU Training Centre

Project Overview: Swiftsure Electrical were tasked with installing a new power supply at the New Cross Gate MDU Training Centre.

This facility is used by Network Rail to train their employees on the correct procedures in the rail industry before they work on live tracks.

Key Features and Installations:

1. Power Supply Installation: We utilized the existing duct work in the depot to install a new power supply.

2. Enclosure Installation: An enclosure was installed to house a new consumer unit, two 110-volt transformers with isolators, and lighting controls.

3. Lighting Installation: We installed lighting around the handrail of the training centre to ensure adequate illumination for training activities.

Outcome: The project was completed successfully, providing a reliable and efficient power supply for the training centre. The new lighting system enhances visibility and safety for trainees. An Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) was issued to our client, confirming that all electrical installations comply with current regulations and standards.
